An Aubade
An Aubade from The Shining Pathway
by Rev. Lawrence Keister
Six O'Clock
There's something fine in the new sunshine,
At six o'clock in the morning;
When you are blest with a good night's rest,
At six o'clock in the morning.
Begin the day in the good old way,
At six o'clock in the morning;
Address the Lord as you read His Word,
At six o'clock in the morning.
Take time to sit and think a bit,
At six o'clock in the morning;
Gird up your mind with the truth you find,
At six o'clock in the morning.
You find great gain for your heart and brain,
At six o'clock in the morning;
If you arise with the good and the wise
At six o'clock in the morning.
