God's Minute
September 12
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.--Psalm 27:7-11
WE BOW humbly before Thee, O Lord, our Father, and render to Thee our praises for all Thy loving-kindness and tender mercy toward us. All that we have and are and hope, we owe to Thy goodness. We humbly beseech Thee to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from every stain of iniquity. Help us to walk before Thee blameless, resisting every temptation, and faithfully performing evey duty which devolves upon us. Bless our absent loved ones as Thou seest they have need. Grant unto them and us abundant grace, and the guidance of Thy Spirit, that we may all be strengthened to be and to do as Thou wouldst have us.
Finally bring us all into Thy everlasting Kingdom, we ask, through riches of grace in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Amen.
