Another Empty Nest

Yesterday morning I noticed that the babies were perching on the side of the nest, so I knew they would be taking off soon. I watched them all day yesterday--they seemed to grow before my eyes. Last evening, the mother was no where to be seen or heard, so I was able to step right up to the tree to get the final picture of the birdies.

This morning, they were gone. It seems very quiet here this morning. . .
