Everyday Things: God's Minute

This Friday's Everyday Thing is my God's Minute book. (And that isn't a shameless plug for the daily posts of the daily prayers, either)

Because it truly is an everyday thing with me, I thought it might be the right everyday thing for me choose as my first entry in this weekly meme. The book was given to me by my grandparents when I got married (I've had it almost 30 years!). Nearly every day, something in the prayers of these long-dead men (and the occasional long-dead woman) informs my own prayers, or causes me to think more deeply and more reverently as I pray along.
